Future Generali - Manager - Strategy - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Desired Work Experience - 2 to 6 years of experience

Qualifications : MBA from Tier 1 university (IIMs, ISB, etc.).

Candidates who have worked across sectors (e.g. candidates with consulting and ibanking experience) will be preferred. Prior knowledge of the general insurance sector is not required.

Job Scope :

The candidate will be part of the Strategy Team at FGII and will assist in the following workstreams:

- Preparation of high-quality presentations and reports for the Management Team, Board members, shareholders and Generali officials in the regional office / head office

- Work with various teams to collate data accurately and update business reports

- Prepare long term business plans and build financial models to validate the performance of various sales channels

- Candidate will need to have strong analytical skills and should be able to:

- Analyze data and understand the underlying business trends

- Identify the fundamental problems contributing to poor business performance in segments/channels being reviewed

- Study current processes, identify gaps and suggest improvements

- Should be able to work in cross functional teams and drive the teams forward (with the aim of achieving desired goals within planned timelines)

Strategy team members are expected to work across functions and may be needed to assist a variety of teams including sales, marketing, finance, legal, IT, etc.

Required Skills:

1. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into understandable business recommendations for stakeholders.

2. Ability to create high quality presentations and linked financial models (powerpoint and excel skills)

3. Strong analytical ability

4. Ability to work cohesively in cross functional teams

5. Willing to stretch when required to meet deadlines

6. Command over the English language (spoken as well as written) given that presentations often need to be made to an international audience
