Looking for a wordsmith to :
- Curate content for digital mediums in various formats (Printed POS, Bogs, Social, Video, Newsletters, emailers, infographics etc.)
- Create stories within brand standard & influence brand conversion throughout consumer journey through effective & personalised communication and uphold B1 Language.
- Ensure compliance, simplicity as well as innovation spirit in marketing communication.
- The incumbent will work towards establishing the organization as an engaged brand in the Life Insurance space across categories and touch points.
The role involves conceptualizing and executing content strategy at both Online and Offline conversations.
1. Curate content for digital mediums in various formats/life stages :
- Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales.
- Research and write/curate original SEO ready content for company website, blogs, articles, videos, infographics, online communication, and content assets including emails, newsletters, social and more.
- Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched helping proceed/enrich consumer life stage/lifecycle.
- Developing a comprehensive content plan using sharp consumer insights.
- Developing required assets and selling aids.
- Ensuring close coordination with digital, brand & engagement team.
2. Create stories within brand standard :
- Create/curate content/copy which upholds brand tonality/ethos.
- Do a content gap analysis & produce content to drive financial & insurance understanding with brand TG.
- Ensure all communication is in B1 language.
3. Ensure compliance :
- Monitor communication from the lens of Legal & Compliance (IRDAI) and ensure robustness through continuous improvement.
- The job will demand working closely with multiple teams:
- The larger Brand, Engagement, Training, Consumer Experience and strategy team to ensure effective deployment of content marketing plans
- Multiple agencies creative, social, media, etc for effective content development and roll out
Competencies :
- Basic knowledge of On Page/ Off Page SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
- Best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why?
Education and Experience :
Must Have Skillsets :
- 4+ years of relevant work experience. Should have demonstrated experience in writing /editing/ publishing consumer content specific for the web.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in writing blog posts/Video scripts.
- Strong at communication time management, working with different stakeholders, attention to details, resourcefulness, and agility.
Preferred :
- Experience in Life Insurance or associated spaces.
- Experience using Google Analytics, social media tracking software preferred.
- Journalism background
Education : Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Journalism or related field
- Need to have fluency in English & Hindi both
