Our client is an AIF and we are looking for an experienced professional having experience in Investor Relations and Fund Raising in an AIF setup
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relationship Management: 65% of the profile
- Act as the primary point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on investment performance and company developments.
- Based on the guidance from the senior team member - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing investors to enhance investor satisfaction and retention.
- Develop a deep understanding of investors' needs, preferences, and investment objectives to tailor communication and service accordingly.
Fundraising Activities: 20% of the profile - Support the senior team member
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and investment proposals to pitch to potential investors.
- Coordinate fundraising events, roadshows, and meetings to engage with prospective investors and showcase investment opportunities.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Support the senior team member
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fundraising and investor servicing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies throughout the fundraising process.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize legal documentation and investment contracts.
Reporting and Documentation: - Support the senior team Member
- Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, investor communications, and investment performance for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investor information, transactions, and correspondence in the company's database or CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
- Proven 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or related roles within the financial services or investment industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and fundraising techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
