Job Description: As a Fund Manager in the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) division, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our alternative investment products. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Job Role:

- Identifying, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on new products and providers for inclusion in the Investment proposition for alternative investments like PMS and long-short liquid alternate funds under AIF Regulations.

- Scanning the market for new ideas and emerging themes, and facilitating interaction.

- Continuously monitoring all funds on the focus list.

- Conducting research on fund strategy and performance, and adding them to the focus list if they enhance the existing product mix.

- Performing due diligence on providers, evaluating aspects such as Business Financials, Profitability, Performance, Investment Process, Risk Management Process, Operations, Technology Platform, and Marketing and Sales functions.

- Providing sales support to the network of Relationship Managers (RMs) across the country, including product information, operational support, client calls, and recognition programs for outstanding contributions to the investment line.

- Sharing specific high investment propensity data cuts with RMs to help identify investment sales opportunities.

- Building and maintaining relationships with fund houses for new and existing products and leading negotiations related to partner agreements.

- Fundraising for PMS products.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Developing a long-term orientation for managing funds.

- Demonstrating consistency in applying sound investment principles while managing funds.

- Delivering alpha/absolute return for funds.

- Employing an evidence-based, data-driven decision-making approach blended with the temperament to think rationally.

- Communicating investment views in a simple and honest manner.

- Maintaining strong data orientation and a deep respect for data.

- Applying a fundamentally driven approach when making investment decisions (Thinking Rationally).

Qualifications and Experience:

- MBA from a reputed University.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fund Manager.

- Strong analytical and research skills.
