Fund Administration & Oversight Lead Analyst

What is the Fund Administration & Oversight Lead Analyst responsible for?
- The successful candidate will be employed as a Fund Controller in the Special Situations & Multi-Strategy Fund Finance team. The role encompasses Fund Accounting, Investor Reporting, and Data Management oversight.
- The candidate must be well versed in accounting principles and have experience in Performance Return calculations. Knowledge of both Closed Ended and Open-Ended Funds, together with Alternative Credit (in particular Special Situations and Distressed Credit) asset classes is also advantageous.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Fund Administration & Oversight Lead Analyst?
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Accounting - preparation of fund NAVs and reconciliation to third party administrators, including balance sheets and profit & loss.
- Audit - working with third party administrators to oversee the financial statement audit process and ensure successful completion of Fund Audits.
- Performance Returns - calculation and analysis of portfolio, share-class, fund and investor-level performance (including TWRs, IRR, MOICs etc.) and portfolio attribution.
- Reporting - preparation and review of regulatory and investor reporting.
- Fees and Expenses - calculation and review of management fee and performance/incentive fees. Monitoring fund expenses and calculating fund TERs.
- Data - ensuring accuracy of data in the Front Office Systems and Data Warehouse.
- Liquidity Management - assisting the team with subscription line drawings, investor capital calls, investor distributions call and investor subscriptions/redemptions.
- Projects - working alongside our project management team to assist with projects focusing on operational enhancements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in financial services.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Qualified chartered accountant - ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong mathematical skills as well as proficiency in Excel are essential.
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, ideas and processes.
- The candidate must be a strong team player, but also work with a fair degree of autonomy and take responsibility & ownership of their work.
- An understanding of alternative credit market products is advantageous.
Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
