Functional risk consultant

Our client (one of the big 4 firms) has a job opening in the area of functional risk management. It is a front end client facing role involving interaction with leading banks in India. Below is the detailed JD for the role.

Overall Job Purpose: The role is within GRR (Governance, Risk and regulatory Strategies) team in the ERS division of Deloitte for supporting & leading the projects on risk management framework within banks.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Functional consultant with expertise in business requirement gathering and analysis and ability to document BRDs in clear and concise manner

- Liaise with business team and the technology team to explain business requirements to the technology team.

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking and resolution

- Subject knowledge in the area of credit and / or market risk

- Ability to implement industry best practices

Desired Qualification:

- Btech; MBA from reputed institute preferred

- Professional Certification such as FRM, CFA, CA strongly preferred

- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Other Requirements:

- Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills.
