Compensation Functional Lead
Compensation Functional Lead for Chennai location
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Mastery of Workday: Demonstrate extensive knowledge and proficiency in both Workday Advanced and Core Compensation modules. Provide expert guidance on enhancements and implement best practices to elevate compensation strategies.
- Collaborative Integration Across Modules: Collaborate seamlessly across various Workday modules such as HCM, Security, Recruitment, and Talent to ensure smooth integration of compensation solutions with other HR processes. Foster a cohesive system by promoting harmony between compensation and other HR functions.
- Effective Configuration Management: Exhibit flexibility in creating and modifying compensation packages, plans, rules, and processes. Prioritize defaulting compensation elements throughout the employee lifecycle, including hires and job changes.
- Merit, Bonus, and Stock Plan Configuration: Possess knowledge and proficiency in configuring merit, bonus, and stock plans. Initiate and administer compensation review processes effectively.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features and functionality. Participate in release planning and ensure proper testing protocols are followed.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and address issues and questions related to compensation reported by the business promptly.
- Training and Support: Provide training to new HR business partners and internal HR team members as needed to ensure effective use of Workday Compensation functionalities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience, reduce manual work, and improve compliance and controls. Seek opportunities for automation, particularly in areas like bonus payouts and compensation letters.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with Rewards COE and People Services teams to gain insights into their processes and synthesize knowledge into system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree: Hold a bachelor's/master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Statistics.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Workday Compensation function.
- Workday Certification: Be Workday Core & Advanced Compensation Certified, with additional experience in Workday Benefits being preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in relevant computer applications and tools.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Have a focus on automation and process excellence, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
