We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources professional to join our firm as the Functional HR Head - Wealth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and implementing effective HR practices to support our dynamic team.
Reporting - Direct line to Director - Retail and dotted to Head Business HR
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention initiatives.
2. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of qualified professionals.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs to integrate new employees seamlessly.
3. Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, regular performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify and address performance issues, working closely with managers to improve team effectiveness.
4. Learning and Development:
- Assess training needs, design training programs, and facilitate continuous learning opportunities.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
5. Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
7. Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Implement,update and communicate HR policies and procedures as needed.
8. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
- Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Implement strategies to create a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human resources from IIM / XLRI/ ISB
- 13-15 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on financial services or wealth management. Major expertise in Talent acquisition is a must.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
