Functional Architect - Finance - ERP

A) Basic JD:

Work with the delivery/development teams driving Product road map.

Participate and contribute in Business Concept and Functional Design reviews.

Provide tangible solutions and expert guidance on issues faced by various stakeholders.

Mentoring and Grooming Business Analysts and SMEs in the team.

Should be able to write POC and White papers.

Pre-sales support - Works with Onsite and Project teams.

Should come up with alternative solutions and provide the trade-offs as well as the final recommendation.

B) Skill Sets Required:

- 10-12 years of experience in implementing diverse Financial ERPs (SAP/ORACLE).

- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal.

- Should be able to enunciate the Manufacturing process and journal entries that go with it.

- Should be able to conceptualize MIS processes in ERP's.

- Expert knowledge in Financial Domain / Government accounting, preferably a CA / ICWA.

- Participated in sales proposals and estimation activities.

- Profound experience in requirement gathering & Business Analysis.

- Knowledge/understanding of the Domain - State and Local Governments - Financial.

- Should be able to exhibit Economic sense.

- Ability to have a perspective from the end user's perspective

- Strong understanding of standards and best practices.

- Fast and Independent Learning.

- Strong problem solving/analysis skills.

- Ability to work through difficult problems independently.

- Ability to think out-of-box.

- Demonstrates initiative and desire to innovate.

- Assertiveness and confidence in work

Typically since we are looking for a senior person, this person should have at least 10-12 years of ERP experience with at least 6-7 end to end implementations.
