Role / Key accountabilities:  - Identifying, developing and implementing tax planning strategies (Direct and Indirect tax) and tax efficient structures to minimize tax liabilities for the company.  - Identifying and analyzing impact of new tax law developments;  - Serve as the point of contact internally and externally for all the income tax, VAT, service tax, P Tax and other tax related issues;  - Develop, document, and educate company personnel on tax rules and procedures;  - Coordinating and enhancing compliance processes;  - Advising on tax matters on a regular basis to all the functions in respect of ongoing or new matters;  - Coordinating and supervising local tax audits;  - Enhance tax accounting and tax analysis processes and prepare tax estimates and statutory tax provision calculations;  - Manage tax department inquiries and other communications from taxing authorities and partner with consultants in responding to tax audits and drafting appeals.  - Supporting the finance team in developing systems, processes and procedures to drive best practices.  - Ensuring all the tax returns are completed with high quality and in a timely manner.  Education Background : Chartered Accountant  Should be expert in Direct and Indirect Taxation  Personal Attributes:   - Control / Process oriented  - Action oriented  - Willing to stretch   - Ability to comprehend the big picture  - Strong people skills   - Analytical capability
