The purpose of this position is to provide strategy and vision in managing portfolio of BAS service offerings in a manner in which it secures revenue growth as well as demonstrates thought leadership. As an expert and strategic advisor to internal or external customers at executive level, the leader will also be responsible to build new service offerings, especially in digital space and identifying new delivery models that the organization may need to adopt. Looking for someone with 18+ years overall IT experience, and experience in Managing a group of CoEs, Establishing new CoEs, Building new service offerings and Architecting Digital Roadmap for the organization/clients.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Vision
Conceptualizes and defines overall strategy for portfolio of service offerings from the GDC for Business Application Services - both traditional and digital. Ensures that the vision for GDC aligns with overall company vision and is in line with changing business environment. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Defines and executes a roadmap to build new service offerings, thereby helping the organization secure current revenue as well as maximize future business. Is able to evangelize the vision via communication as well as direct interactions with the clients and executive leadership alike. May facilitate customer's identification, prioritization and decision making at executive level, by participating in professional discussions and workshops.
CoE Management
Manages a set of CoEs with specific focus areas. This covers Application Development, ERPs as well as Digital services like IoT, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud. Provides leadership to a team of architects to identify opportunities for enhancing the service offerings and for creating new service offerings to cater to future market demand. Special focus in incubating new CoEs, and managing the end-to-end cycle from lead generation, capability building and delivery of services for the clients.
Technology Thought Leadership
Has expertise in several key areas in Applications Space, including Cloud, Mobility and Analytics. Is able to conceptualize activities demonstrating/encouraging thought leadership and is also able to motivate the team to directly participate in such activities. Is able to establish and maintain relationships with clients to understand current and future needs and identify new business opportunities. Represents Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences and professional bodies to build Fujitsu's reputation in the market. Works with sales/pre-sales, delivery teams and clients to generate ideas for new go-to-market solutions.
Sales/Pre-sales Support
Collaborates with clients and sales teams to understand top business problems that clients are trying to solve and enables the team to architect an IoT solution that will solve the problem. In identified focus areas, leads the team to help build a business case to justify the ROI, build prototypes and even deliver the services. Is able to leverage experience and learnings to provide direction for the solution approach. Drives process innovation in terms of continuous improvements in methodology, tools, techniques, usage of best practices across projects, etc.
Skills & Experience:
- Specialist university degree or equivalent education
- 18+ years of experience in IT services Industry, mainly in business application services
Exceptional candidates with lower experience can also be considered
- Experience in managing a group of CoEs, especially setting up a new CoE
- Specialization in one or more area from - ERP services, Application Development services (including architecture), One of the areas from - Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud and IoT
- Outstanding experience in IT consulting or similar area, leading successfully the delivery of a number of broad assignments of strategic importance
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to articulate the vision and break it into actionable plans
- Handling a team of high performing architects
- Ability to handle ambiguity, adapt to changing business priorities
- Managing P&L/Budgets
- Delivery Management experience is desirable.
