Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple ongoing projects at customer sites within the UAE and Mozambique. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, with a background in engineering preferred (though not mandatory). Experience in fuel management or petroleum products would be advantageous. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to spearhead project initiatives across different geographies. The role demands a proactive approach, effective leadership, and excellent cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage concurrent projects at customer sites, ensuring efficient implementation and execution.
- Lead projects from proposal to completion, engaging with clients, technical staff, and business development teams. Maintain project documentation including communications, schedules, meeting minutes, and sample submissions.
- Initiating the project, planning and outlining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Ensure adherence to the highest quality standards in storage tanks and fuel delivery, focusing on maintaining and improving product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement enhancements to existing fuel delivery systems and storage tanks to meet regulatory standards and company benchmarks.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish precise delivery schedules for components, emphasizing Just-in-Time delivery. Manage Purchase Order lines, resolve inventory discrepancies, and address BOM issues.
- Manage responsibilities across the entire project lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to FDA approval and commercialization. Set testing requirements and parameters to meet quality standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is mandatory for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Executing the work, coordinating and supervising the project team and ensuring that they have the service required for delivering the project on time
- Responsible for overseeing project operations in UAE and Mozambique, including travel to Mozambique when required.
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Monitoring project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate third-party teams for project implementation and execution.
- Manage vendor relationships and facilitate the launch of new products by FuelBuddy by coordinating with internal teams.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely material deliveries. Coordinate equipment repairs or replacements as necessary, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product knowledge.
- Daily tracking of multiple projects and regular updates to management regarding project progress and milestones.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in project management.
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field. Engineering background preferred, although not mandatory.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience in fuel management or petroleum products is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and quality standards for manufacturing processes.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
