Last Mile Delivery Operations Head (South-West-East)
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Head of Operations to lead and oversee operational activities across South, West, and East India for our doorstep fuel delivery services. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of logistics and fuel operations, a passion for driving operational excellence, and the ability to lead large teams across multiple regions. The role requires the candidate to optimize delivery processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and align operational strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Lead and oversee operations across the South, West, and East regions, ensuring smooth and efficient fuel delivery operations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
- Manage the coordination of resources, fleet management, and workforce planning to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Collaborate with regional managers to streamline processes and maintain consistency across regions.

- Monitor and manage operational performance metrics such as fuel delivery turnaround times, fleet utilization, and cost control.2. Performance Management:

- Ensure high standards of service quality, safety, and customer experience across all regions.

3. Vendor and Partner Management:
- Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
- Develop strategies for vendor development and relationship management to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines related to fuel delivery.
- Stay updated on government regulations and ensure all legal requirements are met.
5. Budgeting and Financial Control:
- Manage operational budgets and drive cost-efficiency initiatives across regions.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring operational expenses align with budgetary guidelines and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
6. Team Leadership & Development:
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of regional operations managers and operational staff across different locations.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence within the team.
- Identify training and development needs and ensure continuous learning opportunities for the team.
7. Technology & Process Optimization:
- Drive adoption of technology solutions such as GPS tracking, logistics software, and fleet management systems to optimize delivery operations.
- Analyze operational data and leverage insights to improve processes, enhance decision-making, and drive efficiency.
8. Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with other department heads, including sales, customer service, and finance, to align operations with business goals.
- Represent the operational function in senior leadership meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
9. Risk & Contingency Planning:
- Identify potential risks in operations and develop contingency plans for scenarios such as fuel shortages, weather-related disruptions, or regulatory changes.
- Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large, multi-region teams. Experience in logistics, fuel delivery, or related industries is highly desirable.

Compensation: Salary and performance-based incentives will be offered based on experience.
Workdays: 5 days workweek from office and Saturdays work from home
