Job Summary:.
- FuelBuddy is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corporate sales, particularly in onboarding large corporate clients, and a passion for building long-term business relationships.
- As part of this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing high-level negotiations, and ensuring the successful onboarding of key corporate accounts.
- This position requires travel within the assigned territory, and candidates must own a vehicle and laptop to facilitate client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Sales Strategy: Identify, target, and secure potential corporate clients, showcasing FuelBuddy's innovative fuel delivery solutions to drive business growth.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers within corporate organizations.
- High-Level Negotiations: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with large corporate clients to expand FuelBuddy's market presence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and high-quality service delivery.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to strategically position FuelBuddy's offerings.
- Reporting: Provide senior management with regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and account status.
- Post-Sales Support: Manage client relationships after the deal is closed, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Credit & Collections: Ensure timely payments and manage the credit cycle efficiently.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-7 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong background in corporate sales and New Client Acquisition (preferably in the fuel, logistics, or energy sectors).
- Network: Extensive network of corporate contacts and the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-Starter: Motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Equipment: Own a vehicle and a laptop for work-related travel and meetings.
