We also have a wholly owned subsidiary Appario Retail Private Limited which shall engage in Multi- Brand Retail through E-commerce Position Description: Financial Analyst LOCATION - Bangalore REPORTING TO - Finance Manager Summary of Responsibilities - - Appario seeks a Financial Analyst to lead function/category specific finance activity. The person would play a key role in driving the function /category agenda and would work as copilot in delivering the business result. The key task would be to help the business in decision support through data analysis and business insight. The Financial Analyst position is based in Bangalore. Key responsibilities : Finance Analyst will be a finance partner to the relevant business team. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis. This individual will be an active member of the leadership team. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business. - Own the P&L and co-own the goals for the category/business function including preparing Annual business plan and rolling forecasts. - Facilitate the Business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time. - Evaluate all pricing/marketing proposals done by the business team and analyze the financial impact in the P&L. - Continuously monitor the pulse of the business and work with business to drive down inefficient cost and optimize for spends - Develop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives. - Establish and maintain operating and business metrics. - Perform financial modeling, ad-hoc business analyses and financial reporting. Preferred qualifications - - 5+ years of experience in business finance. Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance (from a reputed institute). - Strong analytical skills and data driven - Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management - Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment - Preferred experience in building and managing Financial Models Frontizo and Appario are equal opportunities employers.
