Role Overview:
As VP of Sales, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding Data Sutram's presence in BFSI. You will lead enterprise sales efforts, build relationships with C-level executives, and drive new business and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive end-to-end sales strategy, ensuring aggressive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement scalable sales processes to acquire and retain enterprise BFSI clients.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to drive long-term growth.
2. Enterprise Sales & Key Account Management
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, targeting banks, NBFCs, and fintech companies.
- Build strategic relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and financial leaders.
- Develop customized solutions based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and AI-driven analytics.
3. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Define and track KPIs, sales targets, and performance metrics to ensure consistent success.
- Implement best-in-class sales enablement tools, CRM systems, and reporting frameworks.
4. Partnerships & Market Expansion
- Drive strategic partnerships with financial institutions, regulators, and technology partners.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Expand Data Sutram's footprint across new markets, segments, and geographies.
5. Customer-Centric Selling & Competitive Positioning
- Understand client challenges and articulate the business impact of AI-driven solutions.
- Develop compelling sales pitches, proposals, and deal structures to win key accounts.
- Stay updated on fintech trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Partnerships in BFSI/Fintech.
- Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar sales and revenue growth.
- Experience in selling AI, ML, risk analytics, or SaaS solutions to financial institutions.
- Strong network of CXO-level relationships in banking, NBFCs, and fintech sectors.
- Expertise in contract negotiations, deal structuring, and enterprise account management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
