Fraud Risk Officer - Any Graduate - BFSI


Job purpose:

- Proactive monitoring of emerging fraud trends. Ensure Modus Operandi and root cause analysis is carried out wherever necessary and the trends shared with stakeholders.


- Control measures to mitigate/reduce the impact of emerging fraud trends and publish advisories and guidelines to members with suggestive actions from their end.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Clear understanding of the company process and policies; identifying the various Gaps and recommending for improvements.

- He/she should be responsible for conducting Fraud investigations in the assigned locations, branches and territories.

- Submission of the adequate and timely information to the management.

- Valuation of the fraud and assisting in the recovery, market segmentation based on geography & customer segment for retail finance

- Portfolio risk mapping and reporting, Identify value at risk and supporting with risk control measures.

- Use of Risk analytics for continuous improvement in process and policies and authenticating various customer acquisition process and highlighting red flag.

- Developing Risk policies and continuous monitoring, fraud management - preventive & Detective. Managing credit risk exposure, credit/collection process screening.

Specification & Key Requirements:

- NBFC domain understanding in system Fraud risk control across geographies and defining the work process around same to bridge the gaps.
