I. Job Summary
The candidate will be required to formulate and implement sales strategies for the Divisional Sales Management (DSM) Team and their respective wholesaling teams in the effort to build stronger relationships between the wholesaling teams and its customers, increase sales and market share within retail territories of USAS.
This require the candidate to display an excellent understanding of the Franklin Templeton sales process and products sold within USAS, including, but not limited to Retail Mutual Funds, Retirement and Insurance Products, 529- s, Advisory Fee Platforms and RIA- s; additionally, candidate must remain flexible and open to new thinking and methodologies. This person must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and requires a results-oriented mindset
II.Job Duties/ Responsibilities
Divisional Business Strategy formulation:
- Develop short term and long term business strategies through dialogues, reports, analysis etc
- Network with the DSM Team and wholesaling team's within USAS to conceptualize business strategies and technical solutions that are scalable, supportable and sustainable. Refine strategy as the business evolves
- Influence decisions and create buy-in within USAS Sales Management
Divisional Business Strategy implementation:
- Coordinate effort of implementing strategy within and outside USAS to garnish the intended results
- Obtain buy-in on change management process from all stakeholders and impacted parties
- Change attitudes/behaviors of participants to obtain desired results
- Refine strategy as business evolves
- Develop metrics on implemented strategies to be used to measure results
- Oversee strategic initiatives until a formal workflow or support is in place
- Continually analyze current processes within USAS divisions and implement change management strategies to meet the needs of the business, as needed
Communication:
- Provide regular updates to senior sales management via e-mail, presentations and conference calls
- Coordinate the documentation of strategies
III. Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6-10 years of professional work experience, preferably all or part with financial services industry
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Six Sigma Black Belt - Desirable
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytics background
- Strong technology background, including programming/writing code
- Ability to present to senior management
- Ability to influence decisions and gain buy-in
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- An excellent understanding of the Franklin Templeton sales process and products sold within USAS
- Strong use of technology and analytical tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interpret sales reports, providing analytical commentary, when necessary
- Provide subject matter expertise on assigned systems or focuses.
- Demonstrates an advanced ability to perform mathematical calculations and analysis.
- Have the knowledge of working on SAS; data-mining skills

- Collect all relevant data and choose the best option after reviewing all available information
