AVP or VP - Risk Management

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a AVP or VP - Risk Management?
- Investment writing for equity, fixed income segments
- Developing communication pieces / product positioning pitch led by research and analysis to provide additional insights on product/market related concepts.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including global counterparts for product communications/ literatures/ query resolutions
- Support development and evaluation of new product concepts
- Competition analysis for product categories/ product facilities and crisp recommendations
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
- MBA or CA or CFA
- Min 10-12 years of relevant risk management experience in the BFSI
- Sound understanding of financial markets and more specifically the asset management industry.
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Working knowledge of risks with equity and fixed income asset classes, understanding of macroeconomic linkages in the domestic as well as global economies
- High level of understanding of business drivers & the market environment including regulatory framework & market forces (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; interact effectively with all levels including senior management
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams to achieve results and also adept at working independently with moderate supervision
- Ability to invent creative/out-of-the-box solutions to unique communication challenges
- Strong managerial skills with excellent communication; assertive and decisive
- High degree of problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Python programming together with knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau with strong command of MS Office (Word, Excess, PowerPoint and Access)
