Corporate Actions Analyst - Hyderabad location

Shift timings : 6:30pm to 3:30pm

Job Summary :

- The analysts are responsible for the corporate actions Research and evaluate corporate action information pertaining to cash actions from various external sources on a daily basis or as received.

- Maintain corporate action information databases and ensure information is entered and distributed in a timely and accurate manner.

- Ensure all updates are made in each appropriate system, and deal with queries in a timely & professional manner. Contact external sources when needed (e.g. custodians, market data vendors)

Job Duties/responsibilities :

Production Processing :

- Researching, evaluating, and processing corporate action information from various external sources on a daily basis or as received.

- Keeping abreast of and implementing changes in the daily corporate action procedures, the market practices and general rules and regulations to ensure that capital change information is distributed in a timely and accurate manner.

- Maintaining corporate action information databases and ensure information is entered and distributed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensuring all updates are made in each appropriate system.

- Analyzing and following-up on the proper action to resolve pending Corporate Action problems.

- Researching and evaluating late corporate action information from various external sources. Contacting external sources when needed.

- Collaborating with downstream processes and other IO Sites and external sources to ensure that their queries are answered in the appropriate manner & in a timely fashion.

Audit :

- Verification of Cash dividend details entered by peers in the appropriate system is accurate.

- Ensuring FX rates pertaining to Cash dividends are correctly updated. IO - COAC Dept. Projects

- Identifies opportunities for process improvements, and works with the Team and Supervisor to implement them.

- Participates on project teams as a IO subject matter expert; defines requirements and completes user acceptance testing for Trust technology enhancements

- Works with technology staff and/or vendors to resolve issues and/or implement technology changes

Knowledge, Education, And Experience :

- Basic knowledge of Accounting

- Basic knowledge of Mutual Funds Industry & securities trading procedures

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent, desired

Licenses And Certifications : Desirable (not Mandatory) - NCFM Certifications

Skills And Abilities :

- Strong personal computer skills, including MS Office products and the internet

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Excellent personal organization and time management skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

- Ability to learn new technology and systems, and adapt to a rapid pace of change

- Ability to follow written and verbal procedures

- Good mathematical skills

- Careful attention to detail

Problem Solving And Decision Making :

- Uses detailed reports and data to identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or trends

- Researches financial information on multiple systems and the internet to resolve issues

- Recognizes conditions that are out of the norm, and seeks advice and guidance appropriately

Physical Requirements :

- Ability to work on a personal computer and telephone 8 hrs/day
