The role of the Research Analyst for Franchise India Holdings Limited is to research, record and publish reports and white papers on different segments of industry, largely Retail. He/she is required to use a range of relevant electronic and non-electronic published sources for researching.
The Research Analyst is expected to deliver the most comprehensive research coverage possible while taking care to exclude detail outside the brief. He/she is also responsible for verifying the accuracy of the material he/she and other team members are adding to the database and must follow an established set of procedures to do so. The successful candidate is also to keep the database up to date by continual scanning and extraction from known information sources and by on-going monitoring for new sources.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
- Education to degree level
- Strong research or editorial experience, organizational and communication skills
- Flexible team player with the tenacity for success
- Able to handle large volumes of information and meet deadlines
- Able to accept feedback positively and build and maintain good working relationships
- Possess a positive outlook and is self motivated
- Understanding of different segments of Industry.
- Background of business journalism
