Your Role & Responsibilities:

- As a Program Buyer, you will play a key role in supplier management, cost optimization, and program execution to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality automotive components.

- You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams and drive strategic sourcing initiatives while managing supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Execution:

- Lead procurement activities across multiple programs, ensuring on-time supplier readiness and alignment with project timelines.

- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to manage supplier deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.

- Track and report key program milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management:

- Drive cost optimization strategies through competitive bidding, commercial benchmarking, and supplier negotiations.

- Analyze M-BOM (Manufacturing BOM) and E-BOM (Engineering BOM) costs to ensure cost-efficient procurement.

- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, leveraging global supplier networks.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to meet future business needs.

- Manage supplier escalations related to cost, quality, and delivery, ensuring seamless production.

- Negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.

- Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and global matrix teams.

Technical & Procurement Expertise:

- Develop sourcing strategies for ECUs, Control Modules, Sensors, EMS, Connectivity Devices, and other key automotive components.

- Strong knowledge of plastics, metals, die-casting, mechanical hybrids, and PCBs.

- Experience working with local Electronic & Electrical part Manufacturers, Distributors, and Brokers.

- Proficiency in SAP MM module for procurement processes.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to procurement best practices, industry regulations, and quality standards.

- Continuously improve sourcing processes and supplier performance management.

Your Profile & Qualifications:

- Education: Engineering graduate in Mechanical/Electronics stream.

- Experience: 5-8 years in automotive procurement, supplier management, or program buying within an OEM or Tier-1 environment.

Skills:

- Strong program management and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to make data-driven sourcing decisions.

- Proficiency in SAP MM and MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel).

- Ability to work in a global matrix environment and drive cross-functional collaboration.
