We are looking for Analyst/ Sr. Analyst / TL - Forecasting & Adhoc

Mandatory requirements -

1. SAS is mandatory

2. Experience in database management, risk management , Campaign Management, Modeling and Call center Analytics or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry

3. Expertise on statistical techniques like regressions, time series, cluster analysis, CHAID analysis, ARIMA, Earlang

4. Excellent Knowledge of SAS , SQL, Macros , Excel, VBA, Campaign tool like Unica and Oracle,Teradata for database management

5. Experience in BFSI is a mandatory requirement

Role Summary

Service Delivery:

- Quantitative analysis, data extraction and manipulation

- Preparing complex excel pivots and trend charts and make recommendations to the business

- Presentation preparation and delivery

- Drive the implementation of initiatives to conclusion

- Use analytical approaches to help design test - control structures for high risk treatments

- Consistently delivering quality projects while meeting timelines

- Bring in innovations/New methodologies

- Coaching and mentoring junior Analysts and Sr. analysts for analytical work, technical skills and assignment of tasks that match skills and promote personal development of analysts

Administrative

- Manage relationship with clients

- Completes assigned tasks on time and with accuracy

- Manage workload and handle escalations

- To follow Company guidelines

Operations Reporting

- Updates all trackers, Timesheet regularly and accurately

Customer Relationship Management

- Manage Customer Expectations in project deliverables

- Ensure Customer Satisfaction

Communication

- Overall accountability for the smooth flow of communication related to projects with customer

Reporting Hierarchy

- Key Relationships with other functions/teams.

- Relationships with Analytics Practice Team, L&D, Quality

Job Description Job Purpose and Background/context:

- Develop, analyze and execute ideas and initiatives designed to achieve business growth & loss mitigation goals

- Update forecast models

- Forecasting and quantitative stress testing

- Driving credit risk policies in any of the following areas - authorizations, underwriting, existing customer management, collections and fraud

- Driving strategies in campaigns and call centers

- Timely publications of key reports like vintage reports, roll rate reports, bad debt reports, investor packs, campaign tracking, call center forecasts

- Adhoc analysis for fixing specific issues in the portfolios

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (Master's or Ph. D. preferred) in a quantitative discipline: Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Statistics or a related field

- Experience in database management, risk management , Campaign Management, Modeling and Call center Analytics or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry

Competencies/Skills:

- Expertise on statistical techniques like regressions, time series, cluster analysis, CHAID analysis, ARIMA, Earlang

- Excellent Knowledge of SAS , SQL, Macros , Excel, VBA, Campaign tool like Unica and Oracle,Teradata for database management

- Ability to work independently on projects and take direct accountability for projects

- Ability to pay attention to detail

- Ability to clearly formulate analytical hypothesis, perform ad-hoc analysis to support it

- Sound analytical aptitude , problem solving skills and data management skills

- Strong project management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills

Experience

- 6 years + experience in portfolio management / analytics / finance

- Ability to work with multiple data sources and platforms

- Understanding of Basel norms and calculations

- Knowledge of regulatory framework

- Experience in working in large MNC banks/financial institutions in Analytics, BI or technology

- Knowledge of product life cycle of retail consumer/commercial banking products like cards, unsecured Installment Loans, mortgage, overdrafts

- Skills in planning, organizing, project management, time management, and decision making

- Communication, networking and influencing skills
