Position : Food Technologist

New Product Development :

- Evaluating market and getting feedbacks of market research and develop products on the basis of market needs.

- Generating hypothesis of development, laboratory trails, plant trials, stability tests, packaging tests etc. Getting feedbacks and incorporating the same into the product.

Quality Assurance :

- Conducting various tests & inspections to ensure that products developed are in compliance with pre-set technical specifications.

- Implementing quality tools to enhance quality of products and monitoring adherence to quality systems along with maintenance of requisite documents.

- Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criteria such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc.

- Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries, quality checks & ensuring timely payments. Monitoring incoming materials supplied by vendors and ensuring they are as per quality & quantity specifications.

- Identifying and developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of materials.

Incoming Materials Inspection :

- Implementing inspection for incoming material and preparing V.Q.S (Vendor Quality Status) & IQC Check Sheet of various components.

- Working in close coordination with vendors by providing technical guidance and deployment of quality plan for delivering raw materials.

- Conducting periodic evaluation of vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery and service and seeking corrective measures in improving the quality of raw materials.

- Implementing testing procedures and systems; conducting audits to ensure compliance with standards. Taking stringent quality measures including preparation & maintenance of necessary documents.

- Approving samples & agreements of the inspection & undertaking inspecting the incoming parts.

Planning & Implementation of Strategies :

- Project leadership, planning and implementation of all formulation related activities within defined timeliness and agreed cost targets.

- Support Business needs by providing portfolio of products, developing an R & D strategy aligned with the broader business objective and align it as per company goals and objectives.
