Position Description
Designation-: Food Service Specialist

Location: Mumbai
Qualification :
- Polytechnic or University Degree or Advance Diploma in natural or Food Science, chemistry or other related area
- 7-12 years exp. as Seasoning Creator with sustained track record of new wins
- Preferred: Seasoning Creation experience in more than one country/region and across multiple Seasoning segments
Detail Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial project pipeline in the Savory Food Service and Application work queue. Ensure on time and high quality solutions that win projects
- Develop consumer winning Seasonings, prototypes and technologies for customer projects.
- Serve as culinary technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavor creation, and customers
- Plan, lead and execute large development and applications projects to develop innovative products
- Lead Savory & Food Service Application team
- Member of Pipeline Assessment Team
- Support Creation in the application of new trials Support lab staff to achieve optimal performance
- Participate and support BU and Strategic activities
- Manage lab facilities, keep lab clean with all ingredients in stock ready for use with adequate expiry dates
- Ensure all Seasonings meet Seasoning Creation Guidelines
- Motivate and facilitate the development of direct reports
- Manage Seasoning creation team; spearhead projects that translate trends into innovative Seasonings
Knowledge and Skills Required-
- Extensive knowledge of Seasoning raw materials and ingredients; costing as well as functionality, compatibility and stability; and Seasoning and food ingredient regulations in various countries
- Thorough understanding how to deliver taste through seasonings
- Extensive knowledge of trends, technology and processes for product categories/ business units, customers major products and processes and application of organoleptic evaluation techniques
