Manager - General Ledger Accounting


Experience - 3yrs to 6yrs


Location - Hyderabad


Responsibilities:


- Supervise General Ledger account reconciliation, bank reconciliation statements, Payroll accounting for US companies


- Preparing journal entries for fixed asset capitalizations and depreciation runs.


- Plan month close activities & monitor monthly deliverables to the Management group for various financial reports


- Supervise the consolidation process for financial books and handle exceptions and deviations


- Monitor work allocation matrix for completion of tasks on hand as per committed time frames in an accurate and client specific manner,


- Measure performance / Prepare monthly KPI metrics Escalate matter to the next level of management for pending issues


- Adhere to information security and control procedures Perform first level appraisal for the team and advice on career path in the organization.


- Identify training requirements for the team and conduct sessions as per requirements.


Qualification:


- At least 3 + years of work experience in GL Knowledge of US GAAP would be an added advantage.


- Graduate in Bachler of Commerce degree with MBA (Finance)/CA-Inter/ICWA-Inter background


- Possess excellent double entry accounting knowledge

- Proactively applies knowledge and experience to inform business decision-making, resolve business process issues, promote best practice and continuous improvement initiatives, and identify proposals to address complex or high-risk issues for senior management approval


- Trusted, knowledgeable and well-informed, contributing effectively to achievement of strong business performance


- Exercises sound judgement and technical expertise and effectively organizes resources to achieve objectives


- Build strong and effective relationships with team, peers, colleagues, customers and senior management to drive successful outcomes through effective collaboration and engagement. Skills required


- Good exposure to concepts in finance and accounting


- Good MS office skills.


- Good command over English and Interpersonal skills


- Excellent team player attitude


- Excellent team management skills
