We are currently looking for a National Sales Head to help us with our growth in India, achieving both our short and long term goals, and ensure that the right people and processes are set in place. You will work closely with the CEO, Product, and Marketing teams to establish processes that scale and innovate Flock Sales from the ground up.
What is the Job like-
This role will focus on executing on our ambitious sales plans across the country. We will be targeting businesses of all size; though there would be an increased focus on large-sized (- 10k employees) and mid-sized (500+ employees) enterprises.
You will be responsible for end to end sales related processes for Flock within the country. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy
- Strategize the complete sales process from opportunity creation to closure, and retention of accounts already in the portfolio
- Manage revenue projections and targets for India and leading revenue goals
- Track and report Key Performance Indicator data for your team
- Manage and track targets, set up zonal sales processes, and roll out new sales initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams like Product and Marketing to ensure adequate support is garnered for the smooth functioning of the process.
People management and team building :
- Build a world-class sales team and instill a strong culture of focus, integrity, and results
- Plan the size, scale and geographic distribution of the nationwide sales team; and design and implement the required sales training processes for them
- Draft the JDs and work with internal and external talent acquisition teams to rapidly build out the national sales team comprising Zonal heads and sales associates
-Setup and streamline the inbound and outbound sales and support team - (1) Telesales, (2) Email and Web chat Sales team.
- Ensure presence of stringent quality control processes for different functions of the sales team
- Lay the foundation for account management to drive post-sales success and engagement
- Report daily/weekly/monthly metrics to the CEO and Global Head - Sales & Marketing
Strategic Account Management and Sales Operations :
- Define customer segmentation
- Prepare sales pitches and relevant collateral
- Deliver pitches to CXOs of the India top 100 companies yourself
- Lead the creation of new relationships or strengthening of existing ones in key accounts
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Gather business requirements, manage operational requirements and monitor important metrics like client addition rate, conversion time, turnaround time etc.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the enterprise messaging space, and implement strategic/tactical plans if need arises
Who should apply for these roles :
- You have 8-15 years of experience in sales of tech products/services to enterprises, preferably in B2B companies
- You have led a National Sales Head role for a few years and experience in building and establishing sales teams
- You have immaculate selling skills and can deliver the most effectively targeted pitches
- You possess the ability to work with aggressive targets, and think of out-of-the-box solutions when in a deadlock
- You display great leadership and can motivate and inspire the team to meet their targets
- You are very hands on and believe in getting things done effectively
- You are aggressive and target oriented
- You have the ability to assess market trends, shape sales strategies and generate ideas for product development
- You possess excellent analytical capabilities - can understand clients' needs and possess a strong strategic mindset
- You possess excellent communication skills, can elucidate goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all departments
- You take great pride in being an excellent networker, and have the capability to build and maintain strong and lasting business relationships with colleagues and clients alike
