Position: General Manager - Large Vertical
We are looking for hustlers who can wear multiple hats and work closely with founders to solve business-critical problems with complete freedom and full ownership and are able to manage internal team Operations with an entrepreneurial mind-set. The individual must be highly motivated, driven and willing to learn all the aspects of a business. She/he would be working on future projects at Flipspaces - projects with an outsized impact on the business and the shape of the organization. The candidate would be working on key initiatives and driving them to success in the organization.
Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for large-scale projects.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure procurement needs are met on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on large projects.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
