Think Flipkart.  This is an extremely critical role, one which will help the organization conceptualize, plan and execute on a Marketing strategy to grow and sustain a large number of categories.   To carry forward the fast-paced growth, Flipkart is looking for a Sr.Director – Category Marketing. The Sr.Director – Category Marketing would be a critical member of our team and would together help build a best place to work.  Responsibilities:   - Define and own the customer acquisition and category creation roadmap for all the large and strategic categories at Flipkart  - The Person would be responsible   - For co-developing category strategy documents for the chosen categories and make timely interventions to keep the category in line with the identified vision   - For driving the customer acquisition strategy for all the large and strategic categories  - Enable Consideration to Purchase through deeper understanding of the key levers to trial and then programme managing the process to incorporate the learning into action plans for marketing and other functions  - For working closely with Category, Customer Platform and Brand and Performance marketing teams to identify these levers and execute on them  - Owning all category specific marketing activities   - Driving category-marketing programs as per agreed calendar & resources  - Deliverables include category-wise traffic, conversions, revenue and customer base (new and repeat)  Must have Skills:   - MBA from Tier 1, B-School is a must (10-12 years’ experience )  - Experience in Brand Management, Advertising, Consumer marketing, Channel and Category management, Business P&L will be preferred.   - Experience in a retail/online environment will be preferred  - Deep consumer orientation and ability to convert consumer speak to “business relevant actionable insights”  - Ability to put together a comprehensive “go to market” plan across ATL and BTL channels  - Ability to lead and drive agenda with cross function teams  - Planning comprehensive roadmaps to achieve shared goals.  - Strong communication and influencing skills  General Expectations from the role:  - Strategic and intuitive thinking  - Adaptability around the new age technology and marketing strategies  - Strong business Partnership with good P & L understanding
