Key Skills & Strengths -
- Leading & Managing mass media and provide guidance to the brand teams on leveraging opportunities in the offline/digital arena keeping in mind brand business tasks
- Work closely with media agencies and brand/category teams and ensuring successful implementation & execution of all media plans
- Recommend the right media priorities, mix, weights, schedule and so on, using competitive benchmarking, campaign insights and consumer truths
- Provide critical inputs for enhancing effectiveness and efficiencies on the Planning, Buying and Creative fronts
- Develop & maintain benchmark media processes & improve upon the same
- Utilize available media vehicles effectively & create new opportunities/innovations at tactical and strategic levels
Functional Competencies:
- Actual hands-on exposure to media planning
- Exposure to digital from a strategic planning perspective
- Analytical skills and understanding of media markets, both technical & operational
- Managing diverse & multiple teams from marcom, category, agency and publisher sides
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Personal desire & capability to improve existing best practices
Behavioural Competencies:
- Be a point of origin for new thoughts, practices and processes and show personal effectiveness in terms of planning philosophies and platforms.
- Maintain a Zero Tolerance stance on the operational front- Reporting, Paperwork, Audit requisites, Procedural integrity and so on.
- 4-6 years in of experience in a Media Agency or similar organization. Strong expertise in media planning and fundamentals
