The L&D function at Flipkart is responsible for rolling out learning interventions that create business impact and drive growth for the organization. The Flipkart learning ecosystem focuses not only on classroom driven learning interventions but also on peer-to-peer knowledge sharing/learning, self-paced online learning programs, social learning, hackathons, learning though curated resources etc.
We are looking to augment our team with a dynamic person who will lead initiatives in areas of social learning, innovation and creating mechanisms to curate / create world class training content.
Key Role / Responsibilities:
- Be the trusted face of L&OD for the Business
- Being Collaborative is a key requirement. Should have a high social quotient and be able to STAR collaborator.
- Engage with all levels of management with ease and be able to articulate the learning strategy and Offerings in ways that make sense to the business
- Be able to proactively build capabilities for the organization
- Drive Learning in a fast-based VUCA set-up. Be able to design learning solutions that best fit the organizations appetite
- Completely responsible for branding and building asks in the business for learning. Be able to Drive Purpose for Learning aligning to business needs
- Create & roll out processes and learning solutions to promote learner lead learning that have a solid impact on the business strategy
- Engage with Business and be a learning and org development consultant. Play the Learning Advisor role
- Promote usage of collaborative tools for social learning, such as Wiki, to facilitate capture and sharing of critical knowledge among internal teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the learning interventions, programs, metrics, adoption, coverage.
- Where needed Identify & drive content creation and Facilitation in different business units resulting from analysis of learning needs
- Drive capability building programs that help build innovation culture within the organization.
Skills Needed:
Learning Domain Expertise:
- Training Needs: Familiar with Training Needs Identification and Analysis methodologies
- Content Development: Knowledge of Content Development and Design, Familiar with well known L&D frameworks for Behavioural and Managerial training, Co-create/customize training content in partnership with external vendors
- Training Facilitation: Conduct/facilitate in class/VILT behavioral training, group facilitation of social learning/Facilitate FGDs
- Program Management: End to end management of Training Needs - Needs Identification, Vendor Identification, Training Calendar Rollout, Content Customization, Training Quality Control, Measuring Impact Metrics.
- Desirable to have practitioner certification in Psychometric tools like DISC/MBTI/HBDI/HOGAN or the likes and working knowledge of Learning RoI frameworks
- Desirable to have Deep diagnostic skills for specific business problems using performance consulting or OD diagnostic tools

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6-10 years of experience of working in startups, Tech/Product, SaaS, ecommerce, Fintech, Consulting organizations Driving L&D - programs (Eg. Swiggy, Deloitte, Center for Creative Leadership, Dale Carnegie Institute, Reliance, Pepsi, Lenskart, Walmart, InMobi, Brillio)
- MBA or Masters in Psychology with relevant hands on L&D experience at least 3 to 4 yrs in core L&OD
- Preferred if Individual has supported L&OD for sales teams
- Adept in L&D processes and practices
- Comes with an experience of working in IT software / product development organizations will be an advantage.
- Strong Business acumen to ensure intelligent conversations with the business
- Is a self-starter and can work without supervision
- Detail and process oriented and is well versed with latest trends in their core areas and their applicability for business impact
- Be able to balance multiple priorities without burning out
