About the role : - Scoping and end-to-end ownership for the BNPL charter - Flipkart Pay Later (FPL) product - Working closely with banking, NBFC & Fintech partners (externally) as well as with category stakeholders (internally) for meaningful expansion of business - Business forecasting, creating three year roadmap, designing the annual operating plan and tracking performance vs the plan Managing a team which leads the following : - Portfolio management for Flipkart Pay Later - Identify right cohorts & incentives to drive exponential growth for the business - Program management for - negotiate, & implement all partner campaigns - Monitor P&L and identify opportunities to improve bottom line - Close collaboration with product, tech, Ops, Customer experience team and legal team on developing and executing business strategy, and on new product innovations - Contributing to health of the business by liaising with Accounting and Business Finance team - Track key metrics and analyze performance - develop strategies and campaigns to grow the business more efficiently About the Team : Affordability is a core pillar for Flipkart's overall business for increasing customer adoption and growing its core category businesses. Today FK is already the largest merchant EMI issuer with constructs like No cost EMI on credit cards, debit card EMI and Consumer durable loans. Flipkart's prowess in high-quality customer data and massive distribution puts it in a unique position to disrupt the consumer fintech lending space with its proprietary credit model. With the powerful credit model and the ability to smartly underwrite existing to credit & new to credit customers, we will be issuing credit to customers to shop on Flipkart and outside Flipkart. What you'll do : - Strong business development skills, with experience in P&L ownership - Strong track record in managing external partnerships, with 8-10 years of work experience - Experience in people management - Strong financial fluency & awareness of lending & banking space in India - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders - Strong problem solving and comfort in dealing with data - Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and working in a constantly evolving business What you'll need : - Educational background -MBA from top institute, 9 to 12 years of experience. - Strong understanding of technology and business - Knowledge of Internet, Retail, consumer goods industry is a plus - Desire and ability to think like the customer - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - Highly analytical and detail oriented - Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills - Ability to connect with people across teams & levels - Proven people leadership skills - Must be willing to learn - Strong bias for Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pac
