Flexing It - Product Manager

Product Manager

2015 is about aggressive scale-up for us at Flexing It- and we are looking for a Product Manager who will be working closely with the Product team and the CEO to develop new features in-line with business needs, and take them from conceptualization to launch.

Key responsibilities would be :

- Develop and implement strategies for specific modules of the product, keeping in mind needs of the business and also features that will make the platform stay differentiated

- Detailing out new product features from conceptualizing, to developing the business case to detailing out the detailed functionality.

- Define product release timelines and testing and launch requirements, working closely with the technology team. Managing the tech team to ensure timely delivery and raise red-flags if any to the Lead, Product strategy

- Building interactions and experience as reference points as well as feedback from customers and clients.

- Resolve user pain points by improving functionality and driving resolution of product issues by ensuring weekly platform testing sessions

- Reviewing data on a weekly basis (traffic, search etc) and identifying areas for improvement

- Stay abreast of what international competition is doing as also products with potential synergies

Skill requirements :

- Combination of an understanding of technology as well as business requirements.

- Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces through wire frames and mock ups

- Strong business, managerial and analytical skills

- Attention to detail and ownership to ensure things get done

- Having prior experience with mobile or web-platforms is a plus

- Strong communication skills, and should be able to work collaboratively with the tech, marketing and operations teams.

- Innovation is a key responsibility in this role, and you must be a creative, passionate individual with a talent for research and ideation.
