Fleet Manager - Heavy Vehicles

JOB TITLE: Fleet Manager

Minimum Work Experience: Ideally 5 years of Fleet Management experience managing maintenance of heavy vehicle like trucks,fabrication etc.

- Should have worked as In-charge of fleet for a large transport carrier.

- Should be a Diploma/Degree holder in Automobile/Mechanical

JOB OBJECTIVES:

- To standardize fleet configuration, optimize fleet Up-time and costs, standardize design of “upper structure” and maintain good quality elegant advertising on the Fleet.

Fleet Upper Structure

1. Design an optimal “fleet upper structure” for different vehicle models used. Drive standardization of the same.

2. Optimize and standardize cost of making upper structure through vendor development and value engineering.

3. Keep abreast with latest in finite element analysis, design and fabrication.

Systems & Processes

1. Drive Implementation of preventive maintenance systems for fleet management.

2. Facilitate quarterly audit of statutory compliance, maintenance efficacy and delivered vs desired performance of vehicles.

3. Audit of Driving skills of users.

4. Support the implementation of vehicle tracking systems wherever applicable.

5. Ensure implementation of basic vehicle asset maintenance and management.
