Purpose & Description:
The Senior level Sales position is responsible for developing strategic sales plans for Flatworld based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
1. Responsible for designing the sales strategy, successful communication and drive the highest impact of strategic initiatives effectively across verticals in the organizations.
2. Has in-depth understanding of Business and Market conditions that drive business. Has a vision and roadmap for building the organization's revenues and propagating vision.
3. Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
4. Primarily responsible to grow revenues & achieve high degree of client satisfaction.
5. Expert knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques and implement sales strategy to achieve business objectives for the entire sales team.
6. Authorizes the distribution of targets and achieves them across verticals.
7. Be involved in providing support to sales professionals in the areas of creating proposals, presentation and supporting material for pitching to the customer etc.
8. Formulation and implementation of interventions to deliver sustained performance in terms of securing new business opportunities.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple departments and equip cross functional sales managers.
10. Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
11. Has an overall P&L responsibility.
12. Advise the CEO on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues and make recommendations on major business decisions.
Competencies expected
- Experience in selling IT and ITES services per Flatworld offerings across geographies.
- Experience of working with large multi-site and multi-national companies to deliver skills solutions, contributing to budget delivery and growing the business in line with projected growth.
- Experience of leading a sales team, with proven results of successfully implementing contracts.
- Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach
- Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
- The ability to successfully negotiate large contracts with companies and partners for delivery by the business units
- Strong business development, acumen and organisation skills
- The ability to build relationships with key decision makers
