Indusion Consulting is a leading executive search firm based in India.

The following position is for one of our top clients, a leading global investment bank's Investment Research Centre of Excellence based in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities :

- The role will focus on supporting strategists to advise clients on all aspects of investing in rates instruments. The strategists cover entire rates markets including EGBs, gilts, volatility, inflation, SSA, and covered bonds. There is also a strong emphasis on relative value, supply and technical analysis.

- The key responsibilities include analysis and collection of data for weekly publications and thematic research reports. The individual will help in the creation and maintenance of databases for bond supply and demand, macro-economic data etc. and work on analyzing big data sets for identifying emerging themes and investment strategies. The role involves presenting and summarizing data, insights or relevant literature in a structured and concise manner.

- The associate will also help to prepare reports/presentations (such as auction previews for government bond markets) for external clients, respond to internal sales force/trader inquiries, and help with ad hoc client requests, often to deadlines.

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree from a premier academic institution, with a strong quantitative background (e.g. in math, science, or computer science/engineering). CFA certification is desirable.

Experience : 3-4 years of experience in quantitative modeling is essential and knowledge of fixed income markets is desirable. Previous experience working in Rates Strategy or on instruments such as ABS, RMBS is preferred.

Skills :

- The following position is for one of our top clients, a leading global investment bank's Investment Research Centre of Excellence based in Mumbai. Very strong quantitative analysis and computer skills.

- Knowledge of C/C++ and Perl a plus.

- Good data management and analysis skills and a high degree of comfort with Excel; should be -comfortable in maintaining and updating databases.

- Knowledge of statistical tools & techniques. Good working knowledge of Python preferred.

- Good writing skills (good at structuring the report and articulating the key findings); ability to synthesize ideas in clear, logical written English.

- Familiarity with research databases such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Factset, Eviews, Stata, Haver, Macrobond.

- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with companies and overseas colleagues.

- Ability to work under time constraints, handling multiple priorities, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.

- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- The candidate should be a pragmatic "self-starter", who can work independently if the analyst is traveling or as part of a team.
