The FID COO’s are a group of business managers who provide support to the Heads of Global Securities, the Fixed Income Operating Committee and the FID management team. FID COOs are split between a central group of professionals that support FID globally, as well as those COOs that are dedicated to specific FID business clusters, eg Rates, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Emerging Markets, Commodities and Structured Products

Some of the collective duties of the FID COOs includes:

- Financial management

- Capital and risk management

- Supervisory and regulatory controls

- Operational controls and audit management

- Business development & strategy

- Project management

- Communications

- Contact point for Shared Services groups

MAINDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

As part of this role you will be part of a central FID COO support team, you will be responsible for supporting the central FID COO team and business line COOs on a variety of duties, including:

- Production of financial/business reports

- Creation and maintenance of Sharepoint sites

- Consolidation of trading supervisory information packs, monitoring compliance with reviews

- Maintenance of organisation charts, including OE code structure

- Ad-hoc reporting and project management

- Monthly market data review (user costs analysis, monthly changes)

- Ad-hoc assistance with PowerPoint presentations

- Trade metrics collation and reporting

- Coordination and production of business status reports

- Review and maintenance of supervisory mandates

- Central coordination of information for Business Partnership Meeting packs
