JOB DESCRIPTION/PROFILE - FIXED INCOME DEALER

Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for dealings and executing trades in the Fixed Income Markets.

- Dealing in Government Securities, SDLs, and T-bills.

- Develop and Manage relationships with Bankers, Fund Managers, Treasury Heads etc

- Assist the Desk Head with market information, analytics and other data requirements, from time to time

- Fixed Income Dealer will report to the Desk Head.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Candidate should have relevant experience in dealing in Fixed Income instruments like Gsecs, SDLs T-bills etc.

- Should be familiar with the market functioning in government securities, State Development Loans, T-bills and other money market instruments etc.

- Should have experience in Secondary market dealings of debt and money market instruments.

- Should have hands on working knowledge of dealing systems like NDS OM, Reuters, Bloomberg.

- Should have good network of contacts with Market Participants, must be market savvy and follow market developments and economic news closely.

- Should have good command in Excel, Word, Power Point etc.

- Good Communication Skills.

Education MBA, CA, CFA or Post Graduate Degree.
