Who are we :

Fishappy - A 5 year-old food tech retail bootstrap company, started by industry leader from hospitality background. WhatsApp Incorporated has recognized Fishappy as one of the top 100 startups in India to have had a successful business via WhatsApp. ( Present revenue - 70 lacs per annum ) + cash positive.

Fishappy is an asset light on demand logistics service provider for a very niche segment of perishable food items and caters to urban customers who would look for home delivery services rather than visit the market. The market is valued at $10 billion in India and just 25% of the market in 6 metros is $350 Million +.

What are we looking for :

We are looking for a dynamic Co-Founder & CTO who is hands-on and also has high quality and diverse experience in developing applications on Web, Android and iOS platforms. What you'll do- Shape the future of Fishappy.

- You should have an Entrepreneurial appetite

- You should have good pedigree (Tier 1, Engineering, MBA)

- Hands-on with good problem-solving ability

- Mature and energetic person

- Do you have strong technical expertise and deliver best in class products in a resource constrained ecosystem

- Work with the Founder in building the vision, team and platform.

- Develop an app from scratch, including the design, structure, workflows and future optimizations focusing on content based recommendations.

- Oversee all aspects of the technology, including technical strategy, technical architecture, best practices & technology stacks.

- Build & lead the tech team as the company grows and should be willing to code

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead the tech and product of the business end to end, ( one man show in the begining )

- Own features to launch enhanced versions of the customers

- Define product strategy and roadmap

- Stay close to the customer to build features which customers would need the most

- As the product scales, build a team of high impact individuals

We Prefer:

- minimum 5 - 10 years+ of startup experience

- Strong communication skills (writing and speaking)

- Can create processes in a company

- Age : 25 - 45 yrs

What you'll get-

Compensation in terms of pure equity, salary once we raise funds. This is more of a hands-on role especially in the initial stages of the company. We would request you to financially sustain yourself for the first 12 - 14 months or longer too.

For Co founder will be in the form of pure sweat equity for the first year. Salary once we raise funds. Looking for a Cofounder and not an employee, hence, if you are looking for market salary from Day 1, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

We are clearly looking out for a Co-founder, who can run the show and walk the tough journey with us. Basically Someone looking for a long term mission rather than a short adventure.
