First Data - Product Manager - Electronic Payments

Develop Consumer Facing and Merchant specific e-commerce Payments products and reporting.

Product Management:

- Involved from conception through end of life for a specific product, product group or product line including product management, product development and business development.

- Assist in tracking and reporting product performance throughout its life-cycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization.

Product Development:

- Manage product development process inclusive of product commercialization tasks required to bring product to market.

- Assist in driving product development and enhancements including road map and statement of direction development.

- Assist in the development of business case to support new product recommendations.

- Assist in managing issues throughout the process including problem identification, root cause analysis, and client communication.

- To manage cluster of payments products offered by the organisation. Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.

- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.

- Assesses market & competition to develop products basis Industry trends.

Basic Requirements:

- End Customer Focused approach with UI/UX understanding.

- Fundamental knowledge of different technologies, languages & platforms.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Working knowledge of Balsamiq or similar Platform

- Ability to work under tight deadlines with competing demands and priorities.

- Expertise in domain (exposure to Payments products will be an advantage).

Job Scope:

- To closely work with all the internal stakeholders (such as Operations, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Sales, Finance and Strategy teams) to ensure that the product deliverable are met as per plan.

- Works independently under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Individual Contributor. No direct report responsibility.
