As a Category Manager at FirstClub, specialising in dairy, eggs, bakery, and frozen foods, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our product categories. Your efforts will ensure our customers enjoy the best-curated selection of these essential products while upholding the FirstClub promise of trust, transparency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Category Development: Identify growth opportunities within dairy, eggs, bakery, and frozen foods by curating a portfolio aligned with customer preferences and FirstClub's ethos.

- Vendor Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, optimal pricing, and top-notch product quality.

- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive benchmarking, market research, and customer analysis to stay ahead of trends, refine the product mix, and anticipate future demands.

- Performance Management: Set and achieve category-specific KPIs, including revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction metrics.

- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, supply chain, and tech teams to launch new products, enhance user experiences, and drive category awareness.

- Innovation: Develop unique strategies for differentiated positioning, premium offerings, and seasonal campaigns tailored to our target audience.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in category management, merchandising, or a related role in the FMCG or e-commerce sector, with proven expertise in at least two of the following categories: dairy, eggs, bakery, or frozen foods.

- Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying trends and understanding consumer behaviour.

- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and successfully drive category growth.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
