Mandatory skills:

- Individual contributors with at least ten years of industry experience

- Excellent embedded systems design skills including knowledge of OS like eLinux, ThreadX, VxWorks, Lynx, Win CE etc.

- Embedded systems development experience in C, C++ Python

- Practical Experience with google protobufs, HTTP, XML, SNMP, Device management/configuration protocols

- Knowledge of specialized tools used in embedded systems

- Working knowledge of Git or other source-management framework

- Working knowledge of software engineering best practices and software life cycle

Optional skills:

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills

- Ability to learn quickly on related technologies/languages

- Ability to influence business stakeholders

- Strong technical leadership, interpersonal and communications skills

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Domain knowledge:

- Experience in printers, consumer devices, enterprise class products

Educational background:

- ME, M Tech or equivalent from reputed institutions

- BE, B Tech, MCA or equivalent from reputed institutions

Summary:

- 10 years+ experience

- Firmware/embedded systems - eLinux/ThreadX/VmWare

- Design/architecture experience in embedded systems

- Device management/configuration protocols
