THE BUSINESS ANALYST IS EXPECTED TO :
- Be product team's eyes and ears and provide feedback / further opportunities to build/enhance the backlog
- Create and deliver FSDs on prioritized UJs for specific personas and evaluate relevance of backlog w.r.t strategic priorities and dollar relevance
- Evaluate competition and market potential for the specific product line and support the Product Owner and Manager accordingly
- Act as a Thought leader within the company
- To work with the sales/BD teams in handing over any pre-sales efforts
- To articulate (through written submissions and oral presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and their relevance w.r.t strategic vision and dollar relevance
- Support sales efforts with in-depth product and business knowledge
- To maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and service offerings and methodologies
- Understand, translate and map clients functional or business requirements to the product offerings and help customer evaluate the benefit.
- Ensure smooth transition to technical teams of the business and functional requirements agreed with customer and enable initial hand holding and relationship building with customer.
- Come up with suggestion and requirements that would enhance the Points-of-Parity & Points-of-Differentiation of the base product
- Formulate responses to and collate info of RFP/RFQ received from clients
REQUIREMENTS :
- Experience in Agile framework with Jira/Rally/Agile Central
- Knowledge and understanding of Personas, UJs, Epics - Specific Product line
- Ability to effectively develop & present to both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organization and communicate effectively thru remote virtual tools like Skype/Lync, WebEx
- Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and to be proactive
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to execute SQL queries
- Willingness to travel within a wide geographical area for client meetings upto 15% of the time
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
