Profile : FS Analytics (Financial services) - Insurance

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 4 - 8 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Involved in delivering analytics and data science for insurance clients across globes and drive value for the clients using analytics

- Develop thought capital around an integrated Financial Services and Insurance Analytics framework for global banks and insurance providers which address functional aspects like underwriting, claims, Sales distribution, etc and emerging technology aspects like bigdata, digital, mobility etc.

- Be responsible for delivering on various predictive and prescriptive analytics based consulting assignment as part of one team in a globally distributed staffing mode. Interact with client team and ensures timely management of client expectations

Experience Required- Must Have :

- Has previously worked in analytics for Insurance domain (P&C, Life) and understands Claims, Distribution and Underwriting / Pricing. Familiarity with the concepts of Client Servicing, Claim Fraud, model development, testing, monitoring & validation.

- Ability to structure, solution and sell Analytics engagements for Insurance clients focusing on both the functional and technical aspects of an Insurance Services Engagement.

- Strong understanding of various statistical techniques like, regression including logistic and OLS, clustering, optimization, Monte Carlo simulation, classification and forecasting techniques. Experience in machine learning techniques (neural net, SVM, association rules, random forest etc.) is a strong plus point.

- Strong skills using predictive modeling tools like SAS (Base, EG, E Miner others), R, Python, etc. Data Management skills using SQL, Hive, noSQL etc.

- Visualization skills using Tableau, Qlik etc will be a big plus

- Experience in extracting, aggregating, structuring large volumes of Underwriting Data, Policy Holder level, Financial Agent level, and Claim level data for various dimensions like demographic, claims behavior, payment behavior, acquisition channels and macroeconomic indicators, sourced from client and third party vendors.

- Understanding of Insurance regulatory framework of one more of the major economies across globe (i.e. US, EU etc.)

- Exposure to working in globally distributed workforce environment including offshore model.

- Strong functional and analytic skills to identify potential business problems and translate business requirements into tactical analytical requirements

- Experience in resolving complex data issues in creative and effective ways. High self-motivation for success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Adept in data architecture in FS and Insurance

- Able to solution architect with project teams and lead large delivery teams

- Experience in leading / assisting with BD efforts

- Strong, client & people management
