Financial Reporting/Finance MIS Role

Responsibilities:

Book Closing and Financial Reporting:

1. Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing process.

2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and provide insights for management decision-making.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary financial data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.

Management Information System (MIS) Preparation:

1. Develop and maintain robust MIS reports that provide critical insights into the company's financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).

2. Regularly update and distribute MIS reports to senior management, providing them with the necessary information for strategic planning and decision-making.

3. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement based on MIS analysis.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

1. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts in coordination with various departments.

2. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide relevant explanations to stakeholders.

3. Make data-driven recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation.

Financial Compliance and Audit:

1. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.

2. Liaise with external auditors during the annual financial audit process and provide necessary support and documentation.

3. Implement internal control measures to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraudulent activities.
