Financial Reporting Analyst - COMPLIANCE
Key responsibilities :
- Review & preparation of year-end audit files and statutory financial statements according to the written procedures
- Preparation of audit procedures for the wide range of entities
- Identification of statutory adjustments
- Review of monthly and annual VAT, WHT and CT returns
- Preparation of statistical surveys
- Perform a detailed analytical review of both B/S and P/L accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Ensuring effective communication with the client and business counterpart on regular basis to address all issues and lead resolution actions
- Taking full responsibility for timely preparation of all deliverables related to allocated activities / entities
- Supporting ad-hoc projects or handling queries as assigned
Qualifications:
- Communicative and open-minded attitude
- Attention to detail with focus on the end to end process
- Ability to follow written procedures very precisely
- Fast learner, ability to design/re-design processes, constant process improvement focus
- Flexibility, especially during the reporting periods
Good direct/indirect taxation concepts. APAC/EMEA country specific taxation knowledge preferred.
- Accounting concepts - working IFRS knowledge preferred
- Oracle ERP Experience
