Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Financial Operations

We are seeking Analysts for our Financial & Regulatory Reporting group based in Hyderabad. The group is responsible for maintaining capital for legal entities and investors; preparing & distributing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, monthly investor account statements for entities within the D. E. Shaw Group.

The group is also responsible for periodic return computations, and calculation & allocation of applicable fees. The role requires close interaction with various internal groups such as Management Company Accounting, Trade Accounting, and Investor Reporting among other groups; and externally with our auditors as well as administrators.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant having 0-2 years of working experience in Financial Services Industry, preferably with a fund accounting background, or a large audit firm; self-motivated, have strong accounting, analytical & problem solving skills, gives high attention to details and is able to meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills are essential; a good understanding of the U.S. GAAP will be a strong plus.
