About our Client - Our client is a major global financial services provider engaged in retail banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking with an extensive international presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. The FRRA team has been formed to be a value added team by becoming SME in understanding the data source flows and report building capabilities within the firm.

Job Description - The Job Involves:

- Leading, Managing and Reviewing the processes for FRRA

- Supporting financial reform

- Performing data sourcing and reconciliation, to ensure consistency and accuracy of information provided to regulators

- Becoming an SME in end to end data flows across the firm

- Identifying, building and implementing reporting solutions for new and recurring financial/regulatory requests

- Liaising with Global teams, streamlining communication with them and improving Global financial reporting

- Creating and maintaining a financial reporting database for ad hoc and trend analysis

- Performing Inter-company reconciliations

- Preparing Management balance sheet for US region, maintain balance sheet enrichment and provide regular progress update on requests

- Helping US team in running any ad hoc or scheduled requests

The Successful Candidate - You will be a Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA), with 7+ years of experience in the FRA/FRRA area of the Finance / Banking space with strong Technical Knowledge of the same. You will have a stellar academic background (1st /2nd class honors) and a minimum of a Bachelors degree from a reputable institution. Prior work experience in the big 4 firms is a definite plus. You will have experience of people management and you will be an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter and team player. You will have good IT System skills clubbed with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. You will display a willingness and ability to take ownership of issues, while maintaining good customer/stakeholder relations. Experience of working in SAP financial accounting is preferred.
