About our Client - Our client in one of the India's leading manufacturing companies with wide range of industrial products. The company's core competencies are in the area of adhesives & chemicals. Being a global organisation the firm exports its products to various clients in many countries across the globe. They have manufacturing units across the country and various offices in india and Abroad. The company is experiencing massive growth and is looking for a Financial Controller based at Navi Mumbai.

Job Description - You would be reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 6 people. The role of Financial Controller is crucial to the business and a brief overview of your responsibilities would involve:

- Managing the completeness and correctness of Financial statements for IFRS and IGAAP

- Coordinating the external and internal interim and final financial audits and implementation of the findings

- Ensuring that internal guidelines conform to internal company (global) standards along with legal and statutory requirements

- Assess and develop strategies to overcome and maximise opportunities due to changes in regulations

- Ensure information coordination for Audit Committee and Board of Directors In addition you would also nurture and develop the internal talent in the business

The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with 7 plus years experience and are currently working as a Project controller/Financial Controller and have strong exposure with leading MNC manufacturing companies.You have worked on projects of more than 100Cr and are confident in leading a business financially and be responsible for the growth of the company. A proven track record across financial accounting (IGAAP) experience and ideally a few years managing and supporting the operations and manufacturing side of the business. You are a confident and effective team player who is able to command respect and effectively communicate with management and peers.
