About the Role:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be an integral member of the Finance team, supporting internal management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This role will also provide analytical support across various functions, including Investor Relations and strategic analysis/special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the company-wide annual Budget and monthly forecast process.
- Prepare presentations for executive leadership, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and reports for the Board of Directors.
- Prepare, report, and monitor key financial and non-financial performance indicators, including reviewing key operating statistics, financial walks vs prior forecast/budget/prior year, and preparing/reviewing management dashboards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the internal finance, business operations, and accounting/external reporting teams, to support financial analysis and forecasting.
- Provide variance explanations and business insights concisely and accurately.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects that arise in a corporate finance environment.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
- B.Com, MBA (Finance, Accounting, or Economics), or CA (CA is a plus).
- Prior experience in FP&A is highly preferred.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong process efficiency skills to streamline financial planning and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, particularly in understanding the drivers of P&L and cash flow.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modelling and reporting.
- Experience with financial planning applications, particularly Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or Hyperion.
- Self-motivated, high-energy individual capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interact confidently with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information professionally.
